Pool tile cleaning and bead blasting
The band of tile at the waterline is where buildup shows first. We clean it by brushing, and for heavy buildup we bead blast it.
Why tile gets crusty
As pool water evaporates, the minerals in it stay behind. Over time they build into a white or grey crust along the waterline tile, and on spa walls and water features where water splashes and dries.
Light buildup comes off with tile brushing, which is part of keeping a pool clean. Once it hardens, brushing isn't enough.
Tile bead blasting
Bead blasting sprays a fine blasting media at the tile under pressure. It takes the hardened buildup off the face of the tile and out of the grout lines, which hand scrubbing can't reach.

It's a way of cleaning pool tile by spraying a fine blasting media at it under pressure, which removes hardened buildup that brushing won't move.

Yes. Tile cleaning and tile brushing are part of our services, along with bead blasting for heavier buildup.
Can you clean spa and water-feature tile?
Yes. We bead blast spa walls and other tiled surfaces, not just the waterline.
