Green pool cleanup
A pool turns green when algae gets ahead of the chlorine. In Southern Utah heat it can happen in days, after a pump stops, a filter clogs or the chemistry slips.
Some green pools come back with chemistry, brushing and filter cleaning. Others are far enough gone that draining and cleaning out the pool is the better route. We'll look at it and tell you which.
Acid washes
An acid wash is done with the pool drained. Washing the plaster with an acid solution takes off a thin layer of the surface, along with the stains and algae marks in it, and leaves the finish brighter.
